Walking weekend Giethoorn, sleeping on board the Clipper Engelburg.
Friday:
From 16:00 hrs. mooring in Hasselt, a picturesque Hanseatic town on the Zwarte Water. Get to know each other, the ship and already arrange your sleeping place. Then we cast off and sail to the Beulakkerwijde: Enjoy the beautiful nature along the way or learn a bit of sailing on a 'fat' clipper

You can also choose to put your luggage on board and walk to the Beulakkerwijde. You can then board there around 19:30.
Saturday:
From 8.00 Breakfast:
Start the day with a nice breakfast in the sun on the deck, or still inside in the cozy living room. Then you can start a nice walk for example:
Option 1: Giethoorn water villages walk This route can be adjusted if 24 km is too long.
Option 2: Kiersche Wijde - Wieden walk 14.5 km. A shorter, but also beautiful walk.
Lunch: Pack a picnic for the road or plan a stop at one of the nice eateries along the way.
Once back on board, relax and enjoy a delicious evening meal around 7 p.m.
Sunday:
From 8.00 am Breakfast:
A delicious breakfast to start the day well.
Walking to Hasselt:
Christoffelpad - part 1: A nice end to the weekend.
You then do part of this route by disembarking at the Beltschutsloot exit: this route is then accessible via Beltschutsloot to Zwartsluis: Enjoy the last bits of nature.
Or you can take a pleasant boat trip back to Hasselt.
Included:

Friday:
16.00 Signing on in the picturesque Hanseatic town of Hasselt, coffee and tea with something tasty is ready. You can get to know each other, the crew and already explore your sleeping spot. Then we cast off and sail towards the Weerribben. Enjoy the beautiful nature along the way or help with sailing and steering.
Once we have moored, there is a delicious evening meal and some time to play in a canoe or another boat.
Saturday exploring the Weerribben:
From 8.00 Breakfast: Start the day with a nice breakfast on deck or maybe in the cozy living room. Then it's time to get into the canoe.
Sample routes:
Option 1: Canoe route Dwarsgracht 10.6 km approximately 3.5 hours
Option 2: The green route 12 km approximately 4 hours
or a variation on route option 1 or 2, both of which can be made shorter, but still very beautiful.
Lunch: Pack a picnic for the road or plan a stop at a local café along the route.
Back on board you can relax or warm up with a drink.
Dinner is ready at 7:00 PM.
Sunday exploring Wieden:
Breakfast is ready for you from 8:00 am to start your day well.
Sailing with the clipper Engelburg towards Beltschutsloot, on the way the start of the canoe route. This is part of the route of De Wieden
Canoeing via Beltschutsloot, possibly a visit to the Wieden visitor centre and then towards the Beukerssluis.
There you board again and sail back to Hasselt.
A nice end to the weekend.
